Classic Cars of July

by Kathryne on July 8, 2016

It’s one thing to get a car because you need one, and another to get a car because you want one. While most of us prioritize our high mpg commuters or our multi-functional work trucks, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’d be our first choice picks to roam the countryside or cruise up the coast.

For some, the joy of driving a classic car is in a class of its own — whether it’s the nostalgia, the fun of bringing the past to life for a moment or simply the beauty of cars we no longer see today, the timeless vehicles are often what make driving going for a drive.

So this week, Recycler.com has compiled a few cars ready to pass on their legacy to a new owner.

#1: A 1954 Chevy Pickup

Let’s face it. There are few trucks that better emulate classic than a 5-window Chevy. This beauty has a
400 Small Block, Nova front & rear, 4BBL Edelbrock, competition cam, running boards, gorgeous wood bed, and rally wheels. Overall a really nice truck.

Location: Kodak, TN

Price: $18,000

#2: 1976 Dodge Dartdodgedart

Naturally we had to include some classic American muscle. The 1976 DODGE DART SPORT HAGAR 10 FAST BACK is super quiet, very clean, all metal no bondo, no tears on upholstery, all original, non smoker, and has current tags. If you’re looking for a daily driver, this is your car.

Location: Adelanto, CA

Price: $8,500

#3: 1955 Chevy Stepsidetruck

When it comes to cars, sometimes the fewer there is to say about it, the better. This car is fully restored, is sporting a Chevy V8 Eng,  has 10K miles, on the 2nd owner, clean title, no accidents. Simple and clean. And did you happen to catch that mileage?!

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Price: $18,000

#4: 1976 Chevy Bel-Air Fuel Injection

Okay, okay. Before you see the asking price and avert your eyes, be sure to give this car a thorough once-over! This one is a stunner from the inside out. With a hardtop, black paint, fuel injection, black/red interior, complete frame off resto, restored to total stock condition, stored in climate controlled storage, 283C IN motor w/ fueling 3 speed column shift, all underside surfaces redone to factory standards. You get the idea. This car has received no lack of TLC.bel-air2

Follow the link up top to see more, but we just had to also include a second photo of this car’s interior — WOW.

Location: Arcadia, CA

Price: $72,000

#5: 1976 Chevrolet Corvette corvette corvette2

Lots of beautiful Chevrolets across the internet at the moment! Hey, we’re definitely not complaining. This classic red corvette is 90% restored, auto, new factory crate 350, cassette, Black leather, ac, dual fans, runs xlnt, pristine condition.
