1980 Chevy Corvette

The Chevrolet Corvette is the quintessential American sports car. While it wasn’t the first muscle car and it may not have the same fanaticism as the Shelby Cobras (though close), the Corvette has long been the complete package when it comes to American sports cars.

The first generation of the Chevrolet Corvette grabbed the nation’s attention beginning in 1953 and carried it for nearly 10 years before Chevy decided to change up the body to the Stingray style.

By the time this 1980 version of the Corvette was produced, the model had moved on to its third generation (second generation of Stingray) of America’s top sports car.

Check out this 1980 Corvette in this three-minute YouTube video:

This particular 1980 Chevy Corvette is said to be in great condition with under 68,000 miles on the odometer. It starts fine and runs fantastic.

This red beauty has a removable hard top and pop-up head lights with brand new actuators. The Vette runs on pristine tires and a newer suspension. With power windows and maintenance records, this deal can’t be beat.

The exterior is in beautiful shape while the interior shows a little age with torn leather seats. This corvette has matching numbers. The owner is asking $10,500 and will consider offers, but no trades.

What do you think? Is this 1980 Chevrolet Corvette your ideal ride or are you going to pass on this one?
